Culturally Aligned Dementia Diagnosis
Accurate and culturally aligned diagnosis are essential for supporting Indigenous individuals experiencing brain aging. This work focuses on developing diagnosis tools and approaches that respect unique cultural, social, and physiological considerations.
Through community engagement, we aim to identify barriers to early diagnosis, promote routine screening, and adapt diagnostic processes to reflect Indigenous perspectives.
